Roronoa Zoro

From Universe A Wiki

Zoro, the famous swordsman, hails from Eiichiro Oda's One Piece. His Universe A counterpart is decidedly different, though, from his original pirate self.

[edit] Appearance

Zoro's current appearance.

Originally, Zoro wore his trademark One Piece costume, consisting of a white T-Shirt, black pants, and a green obi. But as time passed, he started wearing a layered black and white shirt, with the red "No" symbol on the front. He also wears dark blue jeans with strips of metal down the side. He has kept this outfit ever since.

He still wears his three earrings, though.

[edit] Personality

Zoro is every bit as aloof and nonchalant as his One Piece counterpart, but his Universe A self is considerably more mellow and less concerned with being the strongest; this is likely because he's already the strongest person in Universe A. He's taken up video games, and can often be spotted playing them at Meta's place. He has his own apartment by the docks, but it's kind of a dump, and he doesn't spend much time there.

[edit] Relation to other characters

[edit] Meta

Meta and Zoro aren't very close, but regardless, Zoro can often be found hanging out at Meta's apartment, and visited him in the hospital. He also went with Meta to the TMNT premiere, although he was completely embarrassed by Meta and his friends. Meta seems oblivious to the fact that Zoro has the hots for his girlfriend. Either way, they're friends, in a certain light. They play games together a lot, though Zoro has a habit of berating Meta with insults. Meta seems to take this with a grain of salt.

Meta used to dress up as Zoro every April Fool's Day to try and confuse him, but it never seemed to work, and Meta has since given up.

[edit] Nilla

Nilla and Zoro are somewhat close friends. They often play DS together, and they hang out together occasionally while waiting for Meta to get home. They also like to tag-team Meta with insults. Zoro is sweet on Nilla, but it's unclear whether it's an actual crush or just lust. Either way, Nilla's not interested; When he tried to pick her up while Meta was in jail, he was violently chased out of her house, along with Musashi.

[edit] Jon

Zoro and Jon run a dating commentary program together, where they rate how well potential get-some'rs are doing. Zoro seems quite annoyed with how crude and perverted Jon is, but stays on the show anyway, likely for the money, or because the show seems to focus on Nilla often.
