Jonathan provides an air of reason and reality to the cast of The Pixel, where he stars a leading role. With a constant nonchalant look on his face, Jonathan rarely reacts to the absurd occurrences that happen in the comic, preferring to sip on his current favourite brand of pop soda and shoot verbal attacks at his friends. He also makes cameo appearances in The Scrambled Channel and the now defunct Jiggy and Meta, as well as holding a leading role in Jonathan and Link.

Jonathan is one of the most human like characters in Universe A. In Jonathan and Link and The Pixel, he has medium length blonde hair, a yellow jacket (over a black shirt) and jeans. More recently, specifically in The Scrambled Channel, his hair has mysteriously gone brown, and now wears a lilac shirt and brown trousers. These two differing designs mean when bored he can break the rules of time and space and appear in the same panel twice.

Jonathan, despite being the butt of most jokes in the real world, is allowed a higher rung on the social ladder as he shares many comics with Skate, who is the real butt of every joke. Jon tells Skate to piss off, doesn’t care when he dies in a skateboarding accident and apparently married his sister, but that might be an Urban Legend. Jon also makes fun of Rogultgot and Bacon’s repeated stupidity on many occasions.
In The Pixel, Jonathan is mostly shown drinking a can of Pepsi, and his hobbies are rarely shown to the audience. However, when they are discussed we find out that Jon is a Tetris expert, loves tired Internet memes and has anger management issues.
